Workshops, trainings and education
I’ve had the joy of designing and leading multiple artist rights and legal education workshops/trainings for artists, collectives, cultural workers, and creative organizations; covering everything from copyright and artist contracts to creative resilience, artistic freedom, and risk management. I design sessions to be deeply informative and interactive, alongside blending legal know-how with real-world insight, care, and community.
Because, how can we even begin to learn how to safeguard our rights, until we know what they are?
I started Artistik License with the intention to fill existing information gaps, encouraging artists and creative professionals to become more self-aware and self-sufficient about their rights, contracts, legal and business strategies. In furtherance of this, I have also been involved in the designing of syllabus, and teaching art and music business law as short and long-term courses in institutional frameworks. Most notably, I was Music Business Faculty as the Global Music Institute, Noida (New Delhi), between 2022 and 2025. As Music Business Faculty, I designed syllabus and taught courses exploring the inner workings of the South Asian music industry, including subjects such as music copyright, music publishing, and music entrepreneurship. My syllabus was designed to include curated guest sessions with industry leaders, creating a dynamic and real-world learning experience for students.
If you'd like to know more about my previous sessions and how we can collaborate to create courses, workshops and trainings, I invite you to email me on connections@artistiklicense.com
